HOUSTON (ICIS)--Magna Resources has completed the change of its name to American Potash, the Canadian fertilizer producer confirmed on Monday.
The Vancouver-based firm said the name change is intended to better reflect its focus on advancing its Green River Potash Project in Utah. Located in the Paradox Basin of eastern Utah, the Green River site estimated to contain over 600m tonnes of potassium chloride.
Company officials said shares will begin trading under the new name on 19 August. The name change was approved by shareholders at the company’s annual meeting in December 2013.
