HOUSTON (ICIS)--Brazil's producer price index (IPP) fell 0.29% month on month, the nation's statistical agency (IBGE) said on Wednesday.
The index measures prices from 23 industrial sectors.
Prices rose for six of the sectors, IBGE said.
The sectors that had the largest changes in prices, positive or negative, were printing (2.15%); footwear and leather goods (1.38%); food (-1.18%) and wood (0.96%).
Petroleum products and biofuels rose by 0.51%. Other chemicals fell by 0.16%Rubber and plastic products fell by 0.04%.
