Europe Sept MEG contract fully confirmed at €920/tonne

LONDON (ICIS)–The European September monoethylene glycol (MEG) contract price has been agreed at €920/tonne, down €23/tonne from August, a buyer and the seller involved in the settlement confirmed on Tuesday.
The contract was agreed on a FD (free delivered) NWE (northwest Europe) basis.
On 26 September, the
August deal was concluded at €943/tonne, unchanged
from July.
The initial settlement for September had
been agreed €23/tonne lower but was not yet
confirmed until now with discussions being protracted
and difficult.
