Market outlook: LyondellBasell CEO Gallogly honored with ICIS Kavaler Award

Over 170 attendees joined us at the Metropolitan Club of New York for the ICIS Kavaler Award event, sponsored by The Chemists’ Club, and in association with The Valence Group to honour Jim Gallogly, CEO of LyondellBasell. Gallogly was selected as the winner of the award in a vote among his peers in the ICIS Top 40 Power Players, a global listing of the most influential senior executives in the chemical industry.

The award also honours Arthur Kavaler, who served for 46 years as reporter, editor and eventually publisher of Chemical Market Reporter – one of the three publications incorporated into ICIS Chemical Business. Kavaler, a probing editor with unwavering conviction, passed away at the age of 91 on January 18, 2012.
