Three Asia PX makers nominate February ACP at $820-840/tonne

SINGAPORE (ICIS)–Three major paraxylene (PX) producers have nominated their February Asian Contract Price (ACP) at $820-840/tonne, industry sources said on Monday.

South Korea’s SK Global Chemicals (SKGC) nominated its February PX ACP at $840/tonne CFR (cost & freight) Asia, they said.

Japan’s Idemitsu Kosan and JX Nippon Oil & Energy, meanwhile, nominated theirs at $820/tonne CFR Asia, they said.

As of the time of writing, ExxonMobil and S-Oil have yet to nominate their PX ACP for February.

There was no major settlement for January PX ACP.
