SINGAPORE (ICIS)–ExxonMobil on 16 April began planned maintenance at its refinery site on Jurong Island in Singapore, a company spokesperson said on Friday.
“Planned maintenance work is expected to continue for several weeks, with individual units coming off-line and restarting at various points within the overall work period,” the spokesperson said.
“We have plans in place to meet our contractual supply obligations,” she added.
ExxonMobil’s Singapore Refinery spans two operating sites: Jurong on the mainland and Pulau Ayer Chawan on Jurong Island.
This integrated refinery has a combined nameplate capacity of about 592,000 bbl/day.
It is not immediately clear how operations at Pulau Ayer
Chawan will be affected by the maintenance on the Jurong
Island site or the specific timeline and units that are
involved in the turnaround.
