SINGAPORE (ICIS)–Offers for June-loading non-dutiable C6 metallocene linear low density polyethylene (MLLDPE) cargoes to the Chinese market were released during the week by a major regional supplier, market sources said on Wednesday.

According to market players, offers for June-lifting C6 MLLDPE cargoes stood at $1,580/tonne CFR China Main Port (CMP), indicating declines of $40/tonne compared against May offers.

Sources added that buying ideas were capped at $1,550/tonne CFR CMP, with buyers hesitant in committing to trade amidst expectations of further adjustments in offers going forward.

Meanwhile, offers towards the southeast Asian market heard for June cargoes remained limited during the week. Regional traders and distributors voiced expectations of offers emerging only in the following week.
