LONDON (ICIS)–Qatar International Petroleum Marketing Company Ltd (Tasweeq) has increased its Qatar Sulphur Price (QSP) for June by $2/tonne, the company confirmed on Thursday.
The QSP was announced at $141/tonne FOB (free on board) Ras Laffan, which marks an increase of $2/tonne from the May price.
he June OSP price is in line with market expectations and follows Tasweeq’s most recent tender for 35,000 tonnes of sulphur for June shipment at $143/tonne FOB.
The price also compliments current spot values in major importing country China where spot prices are in the $150s/tonne CFR (cost and freight).
