Meeting focuses on top South America base oil issues

RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil (ICIS)–The 6th Meet the Market South American Conference begins this week in Rio de Janeiro, addressing current issues in the regional base oils and lubricants market.

Topics include analysis and outlook of South American economies for 2016, along with expectations of the impact on the commercial trade balance in the region.

Other topics will address perspectives of the Brazilian lubricants market and specific issues in the North American base oil market.

Items such as foaming control in metalworking fluids, evolving uses in Group V base oils for liquid amides and conditions in wax modifiers also will be covered.

Organised by Lube em Foco, a key South American lubricants magazine, the conference runs Tuesday and Wednesday, 14-15 June.
