| How to optimise your search | ||
You can search using the chemical name or CAS number | | |
Try to type into the search box the exact name or CAS number of the chemical you are looking for. This will bring up a more precise list from which you can select the product you are looking for. If you do not know a product name in full you can search for part of a product name by adding an asterisk after the letters. | | |
If you do not know a company name in full you can search for part of a company name by adding an asterisk after the letters. | | |
Limit your search. You can not search for more than one chemical at any one time. | ||
Once you have your resulting list of suppliers your search can be narrowed down to only supply companies in a particular country | | |
You can search for a company if you know which company you are searching for. Type in the company name and make sure company is selected. This will now search for company names. Unless company is selected the search results will not display company names. | | |
How to understand your search results | ||
Enter the chemical product name/CAS number into the search box and click the search button, you will be taken to a product results page. This page contains a list of all the variations of the chemical name searched for. | | |
Alternatively enter the company name into the search box and click the search button, you will be taken to a companies results page. This page contains a list of all the companies containing the words that were searched for. | | |
Click on the specific chemical you are looking for. This will take you to a results page displaying chemical suppliers for that chemical. This results page will display a list of companies that supply the product you are looking for. | | |
Depending on what type of listing the company has, clicking on the company name will either take you directly to their website or to their company details page. The company details page displays the company contact details, website address and a request for more information form. A list of the products supplied by that company will also be displayed. | | |
From the company details page you can either fill in the request for information form which will automatically be sent to the displaying company. Or you can click on the website link to be taken direct to the displaying company website. You will also see on the company details page a list of all the chemicals that company is listed under | |
