Welcome to the ICIS Innovation Awards 2012 website!

ICIS is running its ninth annual ICIS Innovation Awards this year, designed to reward innovation, environmental advances and sustainability in the global chemical industry. The Call for Entries was issued on 16 April this year and the shortlist of finalists was published in ICIS Chemical Business on 13 August.

This year's overall winner and winner in the category Innovation with Best Enviornmental Benefit was Swiss specialty chemical company Clariant, for its Advanced Denim innovation that cuts water consumption substantially during the denim production process.

Full details of the Clariant entry and all the other category winners can be seen here or in the links to each category below. The winners were revealed on 22 October in ICIS Chemical Business.

The Awards are again sponsored overall by Dow Corning, and supported by category sponsors U.S. Chemicals, Roland Berger Strategy Consultants, Bayer MaterialScience and Shell Chemicals.

ICIS Innovation Awards are designed to recognise those companies that have made significant steps forward in technological and business innovation, with tangible results emerging during 2011 and the early part of this year. The Awards are open to companies around the world, reflecting ICIS's global coverage of the industry. 


The Awards, run by ICIS and sponsored overall by Dow Corning, are now into their ninth successful year.
