Dow Corning provides around 7,000 silicon-based products and services such as adhesive/sealants, insulating materials, emulsions and silicone rubber for the use in industries such as automotive, cosmetics, and aerospace. The company was established by Dow Chemical and Corning in 1943 specifically to explore the potential of silicones.
