FMC is a producer of specialty and industrial chemicals with manufacturing and mining operations in over 25 countries. The company comprises of three chemical businesses - Agricultural Products, Industrial Chemicals and Specialty Chemicals.

FMC will continue to work to further unlock the operating leverage in its businesses and allocate its resources towards higher growth businesses. It will further focus on pursuing innovation in all of its businesses through investing in both internal and external opportunities.
In its specialty chemicals business, it is investing in a number of internal development opportunities. In the industrial chemicals sector, it will continue to make selective investments in capacity expansion and for cost reduction.
FMC’s corporate strategy is balanced between driving growth and innovation within its specialty chemicals and agricultural products segments and generating strong cash flow in its industrial chemicals segment.
FMC has around $3bn in sales (2008) and about 5,000 employees worldwide with headquarters in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, US.
