and trading. 
K+S states that it will identify opportunities that will allow the company to grow through initiatives such as cost management and through optimising businesses such as specialities. This specialisation strategy will give the company the opportunity to achieve “value-added” products.
It will also continue to grow through selected acquisitions to achieve external growth in its fertilizer, plant care and salt business sectors. Innovation too will be at the forefront of the company’s strategy.
K+S with headquarters in Kassel, Germany, employs around 12,368 people and has sales of around Euro4.8bn (2008).
