Trouble attracting biotech finance has set the big pharma predators circling

According to a report from US-based financial information service Thomson Reuters, investment portfolio managers have lost their tolerance for risk, and drastically tightened the criteria they use for assessing company stocks. Only a minority are willing to invest in companies with a market cap below $50m (€34m), and most are very shy of illiquid or low-cost stocks that may be at risk of delisting from the stock exchange.
