Summary of responses
Following the recent announcement that ICIS would be launching a formal Base Oils methodology consultation process, we have received one confidential response from a key market player.
ICIS Decision
There was one formal response to consultation GMC 9/14. ICIS will not be proposing any immediate changes to the methodology of the Base Oils Report. Any decision to change this methodology will be communicated to subscribers using the usual channels and with the usual notice period.
ICIS continues to welcome any feedback on its Base Oils methodology outside of the formal consultation process.
