This is the ICIS methodology for the Chemical Market Confidence Index. The ICIS Europe CMCI, launched in May 2016, aggregates sentiment from hundreds of market players actively involved in buying and selling chemicals across more than 60 different markets. The CMCI gathers sentiment on future conditions, as well as the current situation, compared with the past 12 months to give a complete picture of current market conditions and confidence. The CMCI is published in the fourth full week of each month.
