ICIS is implementing a process of rolling consultation on all of its methodologies. This consultation paper is part of this formal process and covers all of the ICIS primary price points included in the maleic anhydride weekly publications.
The consultation asked both general questions about the suitability of the ICIS methodology and questions addressing specific maleic anhydride market issues.

Summary of responses
There was one formal response to consultation GMC 27/15.
The response requested that Eurostat statistics should be used as a retroactive reality check on prices once or twice a year.
ICIS Decision
ICIS will not be proposing any immediate changes to the methodology of the Maleic Anhydride Report. Any decision to change this methodology will be communicated to subscribers using the usual channels and with the usual notice period.
ICIS continues to welcome any feedback on its Maleic Anhydride methodology outside of the formal consultation process.
