Response and ICIS Decision
There was one formal response to the consultation on PVC. The respondent felt that the Europe contract assessment should not be much higher than the spot level, and that the methodology document should have more detail on contributors to the report and the volume of consumers’ transactions. The same respondent wanted to see an assessment for central Europe.
ICIS will look into these suggestions. Any decision to change this methodology will be communicated to subscribers using the usual channels and with the usual notice period.
ICIS continues to welcome any feedback on its PVC methodology outside of the formal consultation process.
