Price Optimisation Analytics is an application that plots port-to-port trade routes on an interactive map and calculates inter-regional net price differences using ICIS FOB/CFR prices and ocean freight rates from the ICIS Chemical Tanker Shipping report and a third party source.
It is designed to support identifying import and export opportunities by comparing ICIS price assessments with the equivalent calculated netback or landed cost.
While data within the application is limited to ICIS FOB/CFR price assessments and Chemical Tanker Shipping Report coverage, we are continuously exploring means to improve coverage and onboard more commodities and trade routes.
