Mexican state companies to launch new LNG import project

Despite the ongoing import pipeline capacity build out from the US, Mexico’s natural gas demand shows no signs of abating. In a bid to stabilize the supply picture in the country’s Southeast, state companies CFE and Pemex are now eyeing LNG as a temporary solution until new pipeline infrastructure comes online.
