EU gas balancing network code update: Spain

October 2016 was a key date for Spain, as it marked when the country upgraded its balancing regime, in line with all but the most illiquid EU member states.

The article is part of a series ICIS is currently running on the implementation of the EU’s balancing network code. ICIS has also published updates on gas balancing in Britain, the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Romania, Slovenia and Denmark.
