Gas projects in southeast Europe and Turkey

Turkey and southeast European countries have been struggling to diversify their natural gas resources and supply routes, initiating numerous projects over the years to help in their endeavour. But many of those projects fell through either because of changing global conditions, lack of commercial viability or complex regional politics. However, some projects stood the test of time and are now approaching their commissioning date at the end of the decade.
