SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Japan's JX Nippon Oil & Energy Corp has settled its December Asia Contract Price (ACP) for benzene at a higher price compared with its November settlement on the back of sharp gains in spot values of the aromatics product, market players said on Tuesday.

The company's December ACP settlement was $1,320/tonne CFR (cost and freight) Asia, lower than its nomination of $1,360/tonne CFR Asia, a company source said.

“The higher December settlement was within expectation amid the recent uptrend in prices,” a buyer said.
