BorsodChem on PVC maintenance in Hungary

LONDON (ICIS)--Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) producer BorsodChem is carrying out its annual maintenance shutdown at its plant at Kazincbarcika, Hungary, according to a company source on Friday.

The source said that the planned shutdown began in week 30 and is expected to conclude in the second half of August.

The Kazincbarcika plant has a nameplate PVC capacity of 400,000 tonnes/year, according to ICIS data.
