China’s ammonium nitrate exports up 27% in July

LONDON (ICIS)--Chinese exports of ammonium nitrate (AN) increased by 27% in July to 25,936 tonnes, compared to 20,376 tonnes in the same period last year, according to data released by China Customs on Monday.

In June, China exported 28,214 tonnes of AN, up 8% from July.

In the first seven months of the year, AN exports were at 209,726 tonnes, down 20% from 262,515 tonnes in the same period last year with Indonesia and Malaysia being the main destinations.

China’s AN exports in the first seven months of the year are as follows (top 10 destinations):
