SINGAPORE (ICIS)–Saudi Arabia’s Petro Rabigh has completed maintenance works at its ethane cracker, the producer said on Monday in a filing on the Saudi bourse, Tadawul.

The cracker in Rabigh has an ethylene capacity of 1.6m tonnes/year.

ICIS reported that the cracker was taken off line on 10 November for three weeks of maintenance.

In a statement dated 13 November, PetroRabigh said the shutdown will have a Saudi riyal (SR) 375m negative impact on its fourth-quarter financial results.

The maintenance work was meant to ensure safety measures and stable operations at the unit, the company had said.
