A swathe of dramatic changes to infrastructure and supply in Europe’s key markets have put Belgium at the epicentre of shifting flow patterns in northwest Europe.

The start-up of northern France’s Dunkirk LNG terminal, declining technical capability at Britain’s Rough storage facility, lower Groningen production and increased demand for injections into the Netherlands’ Bergermeer facility have all reshaped gas flows through Belgium in the past year.
