BLOG: How China’s OBOR will re-order global petchems value chains

China’s One Belt, One Road (OBOR) initiative is going to reshape the geography of global petrochemicals value chains. Oil and gas, naphtha and other petrochemicals feedstocks and the petrochemicals themselves will move in much-greater volumes within China itself and backwards and forwards between China and fellow OBOR countries. If you therefore have most of your capacities outside the OBOR region, you could be at a significant disadvantage.
