US-based compounder and resin producer Celanese
plans to expand capacity at several sites
throughout the world, it said on Monday.
ExxonMobil starts
production at new US PE line at Mont
Belvieu
ExxonMobil has commenced production at one of
two new 650,000 tonne/year
high-performance polyethylene (PE)
lines at its plastics plant in Mont
Belvieu, Texas, the US-based energy and
chemicals major announced on Tuesday.
US begins dumping
investigation on PET from Brazil, Asia

The US Department of Commerce will investigate
whether polyethyleneterephthalate (PET)
resin imports from Brazil, Indonesia, South
Korea, Pakistan and Taiwan are being sold in
the US at less than fair value.
US crude oil
exports reaches record levels in H1 2017 –

US crude oil exports rose in the
first half of 2017 to 784,000 bbl/day, a 57%
increase from H1 2016, the Energy
Information Administration (EIA) said on
Wednesday.

they expect US November BD contracts to settle
