Strong demand for cheaper,
US-produced crude oil is fuelling a
pipeline conversion project, following suit
from several other projects that are sending US
crude oil to global markets.
Intrexon plans to
capitalise on natgas/bio-based
BD
US-based Intrexon expects to find a consistent
market for natural gas- and bio-based butadiene
(BD), the company said.

petrochemical indexes in November, which fell
0.9% and bucked the upward trend in crude
oil prices, ICIS data showed on Tuesday.

Tronox remains confident about completing its
planned acquisition of the TiO2 business of
Saudi Arabia-based Cristal – despite objections
from a US regulatory authority, the company’s
CEO said in an update on Thursday.
Canada NOVA picks
Ontario for new PE plant
NOVA Chemicals has chosen Sarnia in Ontario
province to build a new linear low
density polyethylene (LLDPE) plant,
the Canadian polyolefins producer said on
Friday.
