LyondellBasell CEO Bob Patel takes top spot in 2017 ICIS Top 40 Power Players listing

LONDON (ICIS)–LyondellBasell’s CEO Bob Patel has taken the top spot in this year’s ICIS Top 40 Power Players listing, published by ICIS Chemical Business magazine.

“While we continue to remain focused on the fundamentals of safety, reliability and cost, we are also thinking about the future and how our great company will become even stronger in the coming years,” he added.

INEOS chairman Jim Ratcliffe came in second while DowDuPont CEO Ed Breen was in third place.

The ICIS Top 40 Power Players is a global annual ranking of the leading senior executives making the greatest positive impact on their companies and the industry. It is based on selections from the global ICIS senior editorial staff.
