PTT Global Chemical (PTTGC) and South Korean construction and chemical company Daelim Industrial Co will conduct a feasibility study on the Thai firm’s planned cracker in the US.

Denmark’s Haldor Topsoe tapped for world-scale IGP Methanol US Gulf Coast complex
US producer IGP Methanol has awarded a technology licensing contract to Haldor Topsoe for work on what is expected to be the world’s largest methanol production complex, the Denmark-headquartered engineering firm said on Tuesday.

LyondellBasell declares force majeure on US EO/EG
LyondellBasell has declared force majeure on US ethylene oxide (EO) (pure) and ethylene glycols (EG) due to the complete failure of third-party supplier of steam to the Bayport, Texas EO plant, according to a customer letter obtained on Tuesday.
