LONDON (ICIS)–Senior editor Katherine Sale discusses the latest pricing trends for July in the polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PE) markets.

European PE sellers are looking for margin recovery for July contracts, while it remains too early for PP pricing targets.

PE is the most widely used plastic in the world, primarily found in packaging including plastic bags, plastic films and geomembranes.

PP is used for packaging, ropes, carpets, plastic parts, loudspeakers and automotive parts.
