LONDON (ICIS)--China-formed sulphur inventories decreased this week to close to 1.63m tonnes, sources confirmed on Thursday.

Domestic sulphur deals were limited and prices were largely unchanged. Offers at Yangtze ports were at CNY1,510/tonne, stable from last week. Prices at Huaxi Exchange saw some changes, affecting spot market sentiment. Downstream producers showed thin buying interest recently.
Sinopec prices for trucks of solid liquid sulphur at Dazhou stood at CNY1,430/tonne, while prices at Wanzhou reached CNY1,550/tonne.
