INTERACTIVE: US residual fuel supplies rise week on week

HOUSTON (ICIS)--US residual fuel supplies rose last week, the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) said on Wednesday.

Supplies rose to 29.042m bbl from 27.999m bbl the prior week. Year on year, supplies are 18.9% stronger than 35.8m bbl.

Consumption fell to 0.265m bbl/day from 0.517m bbl/day the prior week. Year on year, consumption is 25.4% weaker than 0.355m bbl/day.

Production rose to 0.41m bbl/day from 0.342m bbl/day the prior week. Year on year, production is 5.5% weaker than 0.434m bbl/day.

Residual imports fell to 0.258m bbl/day from 0.368m bbl/day the prior week. Year on year, imports are 158% stronger than 0.1m bbl/day.

Residual exports fell to 0.254m bbl/day from 0.335m bbl/day the prior week. Year on year, exports are 13% weaker than 0.292m bbl/day.
