Belarus’ PVC imports down 0.7% in January-October

MOSCOW (MRC)–Imports of unmixed polyvinyl chloride (PVC) into Belarus decreased in the first ten months of 2018 by 0.7% year on year, totalling 28,300 tonnes, according to MRC’s DataScope report.

According to the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Belarus, local converters virtually maintained in October PVC import levels from September at 2,600 tonnes.

Russian producers, with a market share of 88%, were the key suppliers to Belarus over the stated period.

Producers from Ukraine and Germany, with 6% and 4% respectively, were the second and third largest suppliers.
