Russia’s Angarsk Polymer Plant shuts LDPE production

MOSCOW (MRC)–Angarsk Polymer Plant has shut down its low density polyethylene (LDPE) production due to severe cold weather, according to an ICIS-MRC Price report.

The exact dates of the forced outage have not been announced.

The plant’s annual production capacity stands at 80,000 tonnes/tonnes.

Angarsk Polymer Plant is a subsidiary of Rosneft, who controls the company through OOO Neft-Aktiv.

MRC, a partner of ICIS, produces polymers news and pricing reports from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
