AFPM ’19: US tallow refined glycerine spot prices under downward pressure on higher volumes

SAN ANTONIO (ICIS)–US tallow refined glycerine spot prices are under  downward pressure on the back of higher-than-expected volumes in the market, according to sources this week.

A slight downward pull on spot pricing is being quoted as a result of some unexpected spot volume hitting the merchant market, the sources added/

The market players were speaking on the sidelines of this year’s International Petrochemical Conference (IPC).

Over the course of the first quarter, tallow refined glycerine prices have largely been underpinned by stability.

Hosted by the American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers (AFPM), the IPC takes place on 24-26 March in San Antonio, Texas.
