Russia’s PVC output up 3% in January-September

MOSCOW (MRC)–Russia’s overall production of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) exceeded 720,500 tonnes in the first nine months of 2019, up by 3% year on year, according to MRC’s ScanPlast report.

Among the major producers, RusVinyl produced 257,100 tonnes of PVC in January-September 2019, up by 6% year on year.

SayanskKhimPlast produced 213,200 tonnes of the resin, compared to 197,200 tonnes a year earlier.

Baskhir Soda Company 192,400 tonnes of PVC in January-September, compared to 190,000 tonnes a year earlier.

Kaustik produced 57,900 tonnes of PVC in the first nine months of 2019, versus 69,500 tonnes a year earlier.
