Uzbekistan’s Uz-Kor Gas Chemical to shut HDPE production for maintenance

MOSCOW (MRC)–Uz-Kor Gas Chemical plans to take offline its production of high density polyethylene (HDPE) polymers for a 10-day turnaround on 14 October, according to an MRC Price Report.

The facilities have production capacities of 386,000 tonnes/year for HDPE and 80,000 tonnes/year of polypropylene (PP).

Uz-Kor Gas Chemical is a joint venture between Uzbekneftegaz and the investment consortium of South Korean companies Kogaz, Lotte Group and STX Energy.
