PODCAST: US-Iran escalation would hurt chemicals demand, margins

BARCELONA (ICIS)–An escalating conflict between the US and Iran in the Middle East would hurt the global economy with a big knock-on effect on chemicals demand, an ICIS consultant says.
John Richardson, senior ICIS consultant, Asia, believes the impact on demand could be even more significant than interruptions to supply caused by closure of the Strait of Hormuz.
