Belarus PP imports up 10% in 2019

MOSCOW (MRC)–Imports of polypropylene (PP) into Belarus rose in 2019 by 10%, year on year, to 109,400 tonnes, according to a MRC’s DataScope report.

Imports of homopolymer PP stood at 75,200 tonnes in 2019, up by 8.7% year on year.

Russian producers, with market share of 85%, were the key suppliers.

Propylene copolymers imports totalled 34,200 tonnes during 2019, up 12.7% year on year.
