LONDON (ICIS)–ICIS analyst Alessia Succi discusses the impact of coronavirus-driven shutdowns and quarantine measures on gasoline and diesel demand in Italy.
All non-essential activities in the country have been shuttered since 22 March, with declines in population movement on the back of mass quarantine measures having a substantial impact on consumption.
Both distribution and supply sides of the market are facing difficulties, with no let-up in the impact expected this month.
