Russia ups PE, PVC, PS output between Jan-Oct

MOSCOW (MRC)–Russia’s total output of polyethylene (PE), polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and polystyrene (PS) was up in January-October 2020, according to an announcement of the Russian statistical agency Rosstat released on Monday.
In January-October, the country’s total production of PE was 55.1% up year on year at 2,810m tonnes. Last month, the country’s total production of PE was 90% up year on year and 4.9% up month on month at 282,000 tonnes.
PVC production was 0.3% up year on year at 860,900 tonnes. In October, PVC output was 2.2% down year on year and 0.5% down month on month at 93,600 tonnes.
In January-October, PS production was 4.9% up year on year at 483,500 tonnes. Last month, PS output was 3.6% up year on year and 0.9% up month on month at 51,500 tonnes.
