Russia’s PP imports up 19% in January-October

MOSCOW (MRC)–Polypropylene (PP) imports into Russia increased by 19%  in January-October, year on year, to 181,100 tonnes, according to an MRC’s DataScope report.

Imports of homopolymer PP totalled 74,400 tonnes during the period, compared with 48,100 tonnes a year earlier.

PP block copolymers imports reached 48,900 tonnes, compared with 47,000 in the same 10-month period of 2019.

Imports of PP random copolymers were 31,600 tonnes, compared with 26,900 tonnes.

Imports of other polymers of propylene were 26,300 tonnes, compared with 30,000 tonnes.
