SINGAPORE (ICIS)–Japan has revised down its annualised fourth-quarter GDP growth to 11.7% from 12.7% previously, official data showed on Tuesday.

On a quarter-on-quarter seasonally adjusted basis, the economy grew at a revised rate of 2.8%, lower than the advanced estimate of 3.0%, data from Japan’s Cabinet Office showed.

The coronavirus pandemic has plunged the world’s third-biggest economy into a recession in 2020.
