MOSCOW (MRC)–Russia’s production of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) in the first quarter decreased 3%, year on year, to nearly 260,000 tonnes, according to MRC ScanPlast.

PVC is used for applications including pipes and profiles, in the automobile industry and for medical devices.

MRC, a partner of ICIS, produces polymers news and pricing reports from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
