Russia’s PE production increases 9% in January-April

MOSCOW (MRC)–Russia’s polyethylene (PE) production stood at 1.08m tonnes in the first four months of 2021, up by 9% year on year, according to an MRC ScanPlast report.

HDPE production stood at 653,500 tonnes in January-April, up by 9% year on year.

Output of LDPE fell 2%, year on year, to 228,400 tonnes, while production of LLDPE rose nearly 25% to 198,600 tonnes.
