Russia’s PVC output stable in January-May

MOSCOW (MRC)–Russia’s production of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) stood in January-May at 432,100 tonnes, stable year on year, according to MRC’s ScanPlast report.

By producers, RusVinyl produced 145,400 tonnes during the five-month period, down 2.5% year on year, while SayanskKhimPlast produced 133,500 tonnes, down 2.8%.

Bashkir Soda produced 117,300 tonnes of PVC in January-May 2021, up by 2% year on year, and Kaustik’s output stood at 36,000 tonnes, up 17%.
